We are quickly approaching the start of a new school year.  I am hopeful that you are excited to engage in a positive school experience.  The Spearfish Middle School website has been updated to include an activities calendar, parent resources and general information to assist with us communication. 

Coming Events:

New Student Orientation and Pizza Lunch

This event is scheduled for Friday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m.  Students and parents are invited to join us for a general orientation session, building tour and a pizza lunch.  We will meet in the middle school commons  at 11 a.m.  If you have any questions please contact the middle school office at 717-1215.

Spearfish Middle School is located on the north end of Canyon Street.

Spearfish Middle School Open House

Please join us for the SMS Open House scheduled for Monday, August 27th from 1:30 - 3 p.m.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet your teachers, get your class schedule and take care of other housekeeping items.  The goals for the orientation activities are to create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for our students and set aside time for you to learn more about the Spearfish Middle School experience.  I look forward to seeing on the 27^th.
