We have already reached the second week of school! We are off to a great start. The student council, advisors, Mr. O'Dea and I planned a welcome back assembly this past week for students. The theme was community of excellence. We used the Olympic theme as a way to discuss the importance of dreams, goal-setting, role models, leadership and excellence.
The student council leaders introduced staff in an "opening ceremonies" tribute. The entire school faculty was introduced from the gym floor with one purpose. The purpose is to see that all students achieve at high levels. In keeping with the theme of community, I introduced the Spartan PRIDE expectations. Spartan PRIDE is a set of core values and actions we will take every day to ensure a safe, positive and healthy learning environment. I have included the Spartan PLEDGE below. Please take the time to review the common expectations established for all members of our learning community.
