Together, United: Student Assembly on Wednesday, February 13th in the HS Auditorium
You will not want to miss the Together, United Student Assembly. The purpose of the assembly is to continue to build community in our school. Spartan PRIDE (preparedness, respect, integrity, determination, excellence) are just words on a page unless we teach and model the characteristics embodied in the words. The assembly focuses on the importance of respecting for one another and celebrating diversity. We want young people to see uniqueness and differences as strengths. The song, "It Gets Better" will be performed by the 8th grade choir. Additionally, twenty five other students and staff will be involved in the activity. You won't want to miss it.
Second Trimester ends February 22nd.
Were only ten school days from the end of the 2nd trimester. I encourage students reflect on progress to date and make the necessary adjustments to finish the trimester strong. Students can see individual teachers, and attend the lunch and after school Spartan Learning Lab for help and assistance.
Yearbook Deadline is quickly approaching.
Any student interested in a school yearbook will need to bring $15.00 to the middle school office by March 1st. Please include student's name and grade level on the check and order. Yearbooks will arrive the first week in April. If you have questions, please contact the middle school office at 717-1215.
