We are excited about the last week of school.  Many activities have been planned to put the final touches are an outstanding year.  Weather permitting, there are field trips, end of class projects and an end of the year cookout and "Survivor Day" themed celebration.  See the schedule below.   If you are interested in volunteering or donating supplies for the last day activities, please contact the office at 717-1215.

1)      7th Grade Field Trip, Monday, May 20th
2)     6th Final Band & Choir Concert, Monday, May 20, 7 p.m. in the HS Auditorium
3)     6th grade fishing derby, Tuesday, May 21st, Iron Creek Lake (weather permitting)

4)     7th grade Culture Fair, Tuesday, May 21st,  4-6 p.m. in 7th gr. hall.

5)     8th Gr. Technology Test:  Tuesday, May 21st, The 3rd hour students at 8:55 in room 91 (2nd period) &  The 9th hour students room 91 at 1:47 (8th period).

6)     Jazz Band and Swing Choir Tour Day, Thursday, May 23rd

7)     End of year Survivor Day Celebration, Friday, May 24th.  All students and staff 10 a.m. to noon
See Schedule:
Ø  8:15-10:00 a.m.       Students begin in home room and remain with core teachers until 10 a.m.  (no encore classes)
                          
Ø  10:00 a.m.                Students and staff report to the football/track area on the west side of the MS/HS campus

Ø  10:00-12:50 p.m      "Survivor" Activities
Ø  (11:15-noon )           Lunch (outside cookout style)

Ø  1:00 p.m.                  Bus/Parent pick-up, School's out for the summer!

8)      Supervision Duty:   All Staff
9)      Lounge Duty:  All Staff

Upcoming Activities:
May 28                                    Last Day for Staff:  Teacher PD, a.m. and Checkout, p.m.

-CC math and ELA Reps. will meet at the District Office 8-11:30 a.m. (time estimate)
-All other teachers will meet in the commons for Flex Time Planning, 8-11:30 a.m.
-The afternoon in checkout time

June 3                          Summer School begins, 8- a.m. – noon  (June 3rd through June 25th.)


Strong to the Finish:  Please be visible in the halls this week before, during and after school this week. 


               
There are no gold medals for the 95 yard dash.
