Dear Parents/Guardians:

We have two opportunities to participate in activities this week.  First, we are hosting the final Parents as Partners meeting tonight at SMS in the library from 6-7 p.m.  The agenda includes a review of this year's activities, 6th grade transition activities, the end of the year celebration and looking ahead to next year.  Additionally, please plan to attend the SMS activities banquet scheduled for Tuesday, May 7th from 6-7 p.m. in the gymnasium.  Our students have accomplish great things in the performance arena.   I hope to see you this week!

1) Track meet at Sturgis, Monday, May 6th.  Bus leaves at 10:30 a.m.

2) Parents as Partners Mtg., Monday, May 6^th, 6-7 p.m. in the SMS Library

3) SMS Activities Banquet, Tuesday, May 7^th from 6-7 p.m. in the SMS gymnasium

4) Large Group Contest, Wednesday, May 8 in Sturgis

5) Annual Staff Recognition Banquet, Wednesday, May 8 from 5-6 p.m.

6) 6th grade balloon launch, Friday, May 10^th at 8:30 a.m.

7) Staff Lunch Celebration! Domino’s Pizza will be bring in pizza for the staff lunches on May 8^th

8) Supervision Duty: Knittle, Farley, Syman, Vette, Engesser

9) Lounge Duty: All 6^th and 7^th Grade Staff

10) Spearfish Track and Field Meet (We need volunteers; see Kevin)
