Weekly Spartan Blog: February 10-14, 2014

Spartan PRIDE
Supporting our school community core values.

Spearfish Middle School wrapped up a busy week with the Annual Science Fair held at the Young Center on the campus of Black Hills State University.  All seventh and eighth grade students participated.  Only sixth grades students who chose to complete a project were involved.  I was very proud to see the display of quality work and presentation.  Our students clearly demonstrated their understanding of the scientific method.

I was able to visit with many students and hear about the work they completed.  I appreciated the quality and depth of thinking required in this activity.  A special thank you to parents and teachers for your guidance and support.
