Weekly Spartan Blog: September 8-12, 2014

Spartan PRIDE
Supporting our school community core values.

Our students are amazing!  I am impressed with our student body.  They have started the year with a positive outlook on the school year ahead.  Many of our students have taken the Spartan Challenge.  One of the ways we know they've taken the challenge is their signature on the challenge wall in the commons.  I have included a photo the Spartan Challenge below.  Please take the time to visit with your child about their classes, learning activities and things they are looking forward to this year at SMS.  The ICU database that communicates an email and text message when your child has a missing assignment is now active.  If you receive  a message, please visit with your child and help them develop a plan for completion.  We will be utilizing our Spartan Learning Lab to provide additional time and support as well.
