National School Counseling Week
 National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), will be celebrated from Feb. 2–6, 2015.   The goal is to focus attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within our school and how students are better prepared as a result of what school counselors do.  National School Counseling Week highlights the amazing impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for their future.

1)      Block 4:  February 3-24 (8th band/choir included)
2/3: Beginning of Block 4
2/24: End of Block 4

2)     7th Grade Stock Show Field Trip, Monday, February 2nd

Agenda:  A) Follow up on grade level discussion about Grading & Homework Norms, SLL and ICU  B) Budget Process  C) Literacy Skills across the curriculum

6)     PD Early Release, February 4th,  1:00 Professional Development -brief meeting in the library before work time on PLC Smart Goals, SLO, Assessment Development at 1:15 p.m.

7)     Building Leadership Team Meeting:  , Wednesday, Feb 4th, 3:25 p.m. in the conf. rm.

9)     Building Capital Outlay Requests:  Deadline is March 1st.  You must complete the Purchase Order form with appropriate information for your request to be considered.  (Request must be depreciable items (desks, equipment etc…, including software).

11) Communicate alignment of lesson plans to the curriculum standards on your teacher web pages. -This is tied to the K12 accreditation process.
