I wanted to share some news you have already over the past week. Spearfish has been a great place for me and my family to work and learn. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that I will be leaving my role at the Spearfish Middle School Principal, effective at
the end of my contract in June 2015. I
cannot begin to put into words how much I care for the students and staff at
Spearfish Middle School. I have always tried to make decisions
motivated by what is best for my family.
After thoughtful consideration, the decision to go has everything to do
with personal interests. I have cherished
our time in the Spearfish School District and Community. In my remaining time here, I will do
everything possible to set students, staff, and the next leader up for
success.
All the Best,
Shane Baier
