Smarter-Balanced Testing is going well.  Sixth grade has complete the assessments, 7th grade will finish on April 30 and eighth grade is scheduled to begin on May 1st.  We are approaching the final month of the school year.  Be sure to check out the school activities calendar; see the link for a calendar of events.  Calendar Link:

Thank you to those that have contributed to the End of Year Celebration through donations.  We are still in need of many supplies. I will send an email on Monday with an updated list of needs.

2)     STAR Reading and Math Testing Window, April 15-May 15

3)     Important FLEX Dates:   Begins on Monday, April 27th

4)     Reminder to consider application for a Spearfish Foundation Grant.  Go to: http://www.spearfishschools.org/    Grant applications for the Spearfish Foundation for Public Education. The grant deadline is April 30th.

5)     Communicate alignment of lesson plans to the curriculum standards on your teacher web pages. -This is tied to the K12 accreditation process.

6)      Bus Supervision Duty:   *Claggett, *L. Wangeman, Stewart, Mead, Axlund ( *East side crosswalk)

7)       Lounge Duty:  Moore, Cooch, Bauerly, Sukstorf, Haggerty

8)     8^th Grade Smarter Balanced Testing Window:  May 1-May 15, 2015

9)       End of Year Celebration Activity and Supply Needs Deadline is May 1^st.

-START Teachers need to enter the activity and supplies needed in the spreadsheet located in the End of Year Celebration Folder found in the Shared Folder.
