We are finishing up Smarter-Balanced State Testing this week with 8th grade.  With the sports/activities season wrapped up for the year, we will turn our focus to a strong finish in the classroom and on the fine arts stage.  Check the upcoming events for the final concerts of the year.  With only two weeks left, it is important for students to stay focused on school and learning obligations in the classroom.  We anticipate a good week of weather next week for the 6th grade fishing derby and the 7th grade trip to the McNenny Fish Hatchery.  Thank you again for your support this year.  Our students and staff have had an exceptional school year!

The Ronald McDonald® Care Mobile

is coming to Spearfish!

Your child’s teeth are important.  Dental disease (cavities) can threaten a child’s health, well- being and achievement.  Children with oral health problems can have difficulty eating and sleeping and paying attention in school.

The Ronald McDonald® Care Mobile is a fully equipped dental office on wheels.  By participating in the Care Mobile program, your child can receive quality oral health services, including cleanings, preventive services, fillings and oral health education. 

The staff and volunteers of the Smile Mobile will treat children ages 0 through 20 who do not have a dental home (children who have not seen a dentist for two years or live more than 85 miles from a dentist).  No child will be turned away for inability to pay.
